My Story

​After more than a decade of hiring teenagers at Barnard General Store, I kept seeing the same thing: smart, capable kids who had never been taught the basics. They couldn't count change. They didn't understand taxes. They had no idea how to budget or save.

Today's kids are growing up in a cashless world. It's easy to forget that without ever touching money, counting change, or watching a savings account grow, real financial understanding just never develops.​

Aldo's Allowance Academy is a screen-free, printable allowance system that becomes part of your family's rhythm. Kids earn, save, spend, and give — week after week — until real money confidence is just part of who they are.
